Tyagnibok called for abandoning Russian antiviruses, communications between Kyivstar and MTS
Kyiv, June 18 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Government bodies of Ukraine and ordinary citizens should abandon Russian antiviruses, as well as mobile communications Kyivstar and MTS, for information security purposes.
Svoboda leader Oleg Tyagnibok stated this during a hearing in the Verkhovna Rada.

“It is necessary to abandon Russian antiviruses that have access to the OS kernel,” he said.
“MTS and Kyivstar are related to Russian capital. We know of cases where data of Ukrainian users is transferred to third parties. During the Maidan, these operators sent out SMS messages threatening the protesters. The solution is to create a national operator, possibly on the basis of the reprivatized Ukrtelecom,” suggests Tyagnibok.
