Tyagnibok: We will bill Russia for the occupation of Ukraine since 1918!
Ukraine must begin legal preparations to bring monetary claims against Russia for “occupation since 1918.” Nationalist and leader of the Svoboda party Oleg Tyagnibok stated this on TV channel 112.

According to him, the Verkhovna Rada must recognize this entire period as “genocide of the Ukrainian people.”
“We need to recognize the fact of Moscow’s occupation of Ukraine from 1918, when the war against the Ukrainian People’s Republic began, until 1991. As soon as we officially admit at the state level that this was the occupation of Ukraine by Russia, and the consequence of this occupation was a huge multi-ten million genocide against the Ukrainian nation, then the doors before international courts tomorrow, before Nuremberg 2, will be open for us... We need to be billed to Russia not only for the occupation, from 18 to 91, but also for the current occupation of Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk regions,” Tyagnibok said.
