The head of Svoboda, Oleg Tyagnibok, stated this at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada.

Deputy Oles Doniy, who spoke next, demanded that an application for NATO membership be immediately submitted. “Besides NATO, no one can now protect the interests of Ukraine. This is now even more important than the EU,” he explained.

The deputy criticized the German authorities for continuing negotiations with Russia.

“Mrs. Merkel will be compared to Mrs. Ribbentrop when she communicates with the modern Hitler. There will also be thousands of dead on your conscience,” Doniy warned.
