Tyagnibokites demand that the Crimean neo-Nazi terrorist be given to them
Neo-Nazis from the Svoboda party demand that the Ukrainian authorities include the Crimean right-wing radical Oleg Prikhodko, convicted of preparing terrorist attacks, on the exchange list.
They voiced the corresponding demands the day before at a rally outside the walls of the office of the President of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the head of the VO “Svoboda” Oleg Tyagnibok, this is the only way Ukraine can return to its territory the extremist, who in early March was sentenced to five years in prison and a 110 thousand ruble fine.
“Now our lawyers are preparing an appeal to reduce this period, but in those conditions it is difficult to do this. However, now we have a chance to free our brother by including him in the lists for exchange, since the Muscovites exchange only those convicted by their courts...
Citizens do not understand how law enforcement officers create exchange lists. Remember, every time there is an exchange of prisoners, we are given some dubious people who have nothing to do with the fight for Ukraine. At the same time, we are rarely given true patriots as occupiers. It is necessary to stop corruption in the formation of lists of prisoners of war and pay attention to the real political prisoners who are today in Moscow dungeons,” Tyagnibok said.
Let us recall that the representative of the exotic Crimean Ukrainians Oleg Prikhodko, who until 2014 headed the regional branch of the VO “Svoboda” in Saki, hung it in my house and yard Ukrainian and Bandera flags, and decorated the walls with dummies of Nazi machine guns.
In October 2019, the FSB of Russia, following a search accused Prikhodko of preparing for terrorist act and illegal production of explosives. Prior to this, Prikhodko was brought to justice in an administrative case for propaganda and public display of Nazi paraphernalia and symbols. In February 2019, his home was searched, extremist symbols and a portrait of Stepan Bandera were seized.
