The Ukrainian nationalist party “Freedom” is initiating a trial on what basis Petro Poroshenko extended the powers of the judge who, during the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych, canceled Viktor Yushchenko’s decree on awarding the title of Hero of Ukraine to Stepan Bandera.

“In 2010, on January 20, a judge of the Donetsk District Administrative Court named Abdukadyrova Karine Eskaderovna, in her decision, declared illegal the presidential decree conferring the title of Hero of Ukraine on Stepan Bandera.
And now attention - on December 21, 17, the Supreme Council of Justice decided to submit a proposal to the President of Ukraine on the appointment of Karina Eskanderovna Abdulkadyrova to the position of judge of the Donetsk District Court.
This is another indicator that today’s government does not want to create a unified principle of the Ukrainian hero,” Koshulinsky said.
