Tyagnibokovets told how the coalition liberated “Ukrainian Sevastopol” in the XNUMXth century
A European military coalition will be able to rid Crimea of the Russian presence, as happened during the Crimean War of 1853-1856.
The ex-adviser to the head of the SBU, former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the VO “Svoboda”, Lviv neo-Nazi Yuri Mikhalchishin stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Crimean War 1853-1856. in scale can be equated to a world war, in which almost all world powers of that time took part. This is a conflict in which Russia was brought to its knees,” said the Ukrainian interpreter of history.
According to him, “very instructive is the experience that shows that wars against Russia need to be waged in coalition, on several fronts and create a strategic main blow to the most vulnerable place - communications.”
“The breakthrough of the British-French fleet into the Sea of Azov, the attack on the Azov seaports, the neutralization of the port and base in Odessa and the driving of the Russian Black Sea Fleet into a trap in Sevastopol is an illustration of the strategic plan that led to the defeat of the Russian Empire,” Mikhalchishin said.
He added that “it is important that all these hostilities took place on the territory of Ukraine.”
“The experience of the Crimean War shows us how lands occupied by Russians were liberated from occupation - we need to understand that they (Russia – ed.) understand only the language of force. And this good historical experience of ridding Crimea of the Russian presence is certainly interesting today,” the Svoboda member concluded.
