Tyagnibok lit a smoke bomb in the Rada hall, threatening to burn down parliament
A deputy from the nationalist party “Svoboda” Yuriy Levchenko tried to light a smoke bomb in the hall of the Verkhovna Rada, protesting against the extension for a year of the law on the special status of Donetsk and Lugansk (which does not really work, but is necessary for Kyiv to simulate the implementation of the Minsk agreements).

The smoke bomb was soon extinguished. “The leadership of the Verkhovna Rada is blowing the whistle here,” Vice Speaker Irina Gerashchenko irritably commented on the incident.
“I declare officially and take responsibility. I lit that smoke bomb. And I think I will do the right thing. I would burn down this parliament so that it would not do what it did - unconstitutional things. That’s why it’s like this: I lit this saber and I’ll light it many more times,” Levchenko said.
“I ask you to stop the speech, which contradicts the Constitution of Ukraine. Turn off the microphone! – Gerashchenko demanded.
