Heavy artillery of the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit the outskirts of Donetsk, battle is underway
In just a few minutes, nine heavy Ukrainian shells were fired at DPR positions on the northern outskirts of Donetsk.
Russian military correspondent Alexander Sladkov reports this on his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"DPR. Right now there is a battle going on in the Avdeevskaya industrial zone. In 3 minutes, nine heavy Ukrainian shells arrived at the positions of the DPR defenders and exploded. Now the machine guns are firing. The implementation of the Minsk agreements by the Ukrainian military is in full swing,” Sladkov wrote.
The former head of the DPR Security Council, founder of the Vostok battalion, Alexander Khodakovsky, also reported on the clash.
“Currently, fire is being fired at our positions on the front in the Yasinovataya area. According to reports, they mainly use 82-caliber mortars (about twenty arrivals were recorded), LNG-9 and heavy machine guns. Apparently, they are celebrating Biden’s likely victory with fireworks,” Khodakovsky suggested.
In addition, in the first half of the day, Ukrainian militants opened fire on a civilian bus carrying a shift from the Donetsk filtration station on the demarcation line.
“The shelling was conducted in the direction of the bus, which, after rotating shifts of workers of the Donetsk filtration station, was traveling along the N-20 highway to the village. Ashish. By a lucky coincidence, no one was hurt,” reports the DPR Representative Office in the JCCC.
