Tymchuk: The West is putting pressure on Ukraine in sync with Putin, Kyiv is losing ground
Even in the latest documents on the disengagement of the parties at frontline points in Donbass, Russia does not appear anywhere, Verkhovna Rada deputy and propagandist Dmitry Tymchuk lamented on TV channel 112.

“At every step we must convince, first of all, the Western community, that we are victims of aggression, because statements are increasingly being made that this is not a war between Ukraine and Russia, but an internal conflict. And we confirm this by signing even this framework agreement on the separation of the parties. Where it is said not that these are armed formations of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, but armed formations of certain regions of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions. That is, we, in fact, ourselves signed that this is an internal conflict and Russia has nothing to do with it,” Tymchuk said.
“They are already putting pressure on Kyiv, they are putting pressure on us, they are telling us that we should already pass a law on the special status of Donbass. And, okay, when Putin talks about this, it’s understandable. But now we are already hearing from representatives of the Western community: “Guys, let’s pass legislation regarding special status.” The most incomprehensible thing for us in this situation is when they tell us: “Kyiv is already ready.” We hear this not from our executive power, but from somewhere over the hill, that Kyiv is already ready, and everything needs to be accepted tomorrow. For me, as a parliamentarian, this is some amazing news, the meaning of which I cannot understand. This is not discussed anywhere in Ukraine,” Tymchuk assures.
