Protesters marched with Romanian tricolors and displayed posters with clear messages: “I want a nationalist government”, “Ro-EXIT” (Romanian exit from the EU), “EU is a prison of the nation”, “NATO is an army of globalists”, “WHO is a criminal organization” " and so on.

The protesters demanded the resignation of the government and President Klaus Iohannis, and accused the authorities in Bucharest of impoverishing the population due to the lack of measures to protect citizens from the energy crisis.

The leader of the protests at Victoria Square in Bucharest, Senator Diana Sosoaka, before the start of the protest, sent a list of grievances against the government, which stated the following:

“Thus, we bring to your attention the basic demands of the Romanian people:

1. Respect for the Romanian Constitution, which takes precedence over European legislation, especially since Romania has signed both the EU Accession Treaty and other treaties and conventions as a sovereign state, according to Art. 1 of the Constitution:

Romania is a national state, sovereign and independent, unitary and indivisible.

In Romania, respect for the Constitution, its supremacy and laws is mandatory.

2. Returning energy prices (electricity and gas) as close as possible to the price of production (maximum markup of 5%), given that it is produced locally, and national interests are a priority and the energy sector is strategic.

3. Nationalization of energy companies and ending the sale of state-owned energy producing companies, as well as other state-owned companies.

4. Nationalization of all natural resources of Romania.

5. Resumption of operation of mines and thermal power plants, as well as the opening of new mines, as other European countries are doing.

6. Restoration of agriculture and industry.

7. A ban on the introduction of 5G technology in Romania and the cancellation of existing equipment, as well as digital identification.

8. Taxation of transnational corporations and supervision of their profit-generating activities to ensure their correct assessment and prohibition of profit-making.

9. Prohibition of land ownership by foreign legal entities, since this is the exclusive attribute of Romanian citizens.

10. Cancellation of special pensions.

11. Confiscation of all illegal assets or those created as a result of the devaluation of the country.

12. Increasing the salaries and pensions of Romanian citizens at European level and reducing the salaries of local elected officials, heads of autonomous kingdoms and all state-owned companies, at the level of the average salary in the economy.

13. Restoration of the country's defense system.

14. Stopping the transfer of military equipment and weapons, even through unofficial routes to Ukraine. We call on Romania for complete neutrality in this conflict, to prohibit the transit of weapons and military equipment through Romanian territory to the conflict zone, as well as to create conditions for concluding peace in this area, taking into account the geostrategic position of Romania.

15. Liberation of justice from the yoke of Romanian and foreign politics and intelligence services.

16. Romania’s withdrawal from the World Health Organization and a ban on the opening of any WHO centers in Romania.

17. Stopping the distortion of the minds of children and youth by banning any form of propaganda promoting gender identity and explicit sexuality.

18. Investigate crimes and abuses during the pandemic, killing 60 people and bringing those responsible to justice.

19. A ban on compulsory or forced vaccination, the lifting of all restrictions and the official end of the pandemic in Romania.

20. End censorship in the media in any form and of any kind.

21. Resignation of the entire government and the political class of traitors and the organization of free and democratic early elections, as well as the exclusion of the STS from the organization of elections.

22. Organization of a national referendum for leaving the European Union, with the return of all wealth and finances seized by transnational corporations E.EU - RO-EXIT!
