Thus, at a meeting of the State Council Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan on industrial policy, transport and the fuel and energy complex, the Minister of Transport of the Republic, Anatoly Tsurkin, directly accused the Unified Transport Directorate of creating a “mess” at the crossing, reports "Kryminform".
“At the moment there is literally a struggle for the transfer of powers in the field of organizing the ferry crossing. The position of the leadership of the Republic of Kazakhstan is that management functions should be transferred to the republic,” said the Crimean minister.
The work of the crossing, in his opinion, is extremely poorly organized, as he personally witnessed on November 17: ferries stand idle for 1,5 hours after loading, waiting for the oncoming ferry and accumulating a queue.
“Before, everything was clear because there was a schedule. Now there is an announcement at the checkout: we are going to load, and ETD does not control these functions,” Tsurkin said.
The official added that on October 24, the Crimean Ministry of Transport instructed ETD to introduce a schedule, but it was not implemented. The corresponding memo was sent to the head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov.
“The queue is organized so that it is possible to let someone in without waiting in line,” says Anatoly Tsurkin.
Let us remind you that the founders of ANO “ETD” are the government and the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. Port "Kavkaz" is located in the Krasnodar Territory.
