Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev invited Ukrainian companies to take advantage of the transport opportunities that Azerbaijan creates in various directions.

According to the message, Aliyev noted that in this regard, the first test project has already been implemented and a certain volume of goods has been sent through Azerbaijan from Ukraine in an eastern direction.
“We think we need to bring even more attention to this project because the tariffs need to be interesting and attractive to customers so that goods can move in both directions,” he said.
According to Aliyev, he informed the President of Ukraine that in the near future Azerbaijan will commission the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line.
“This is a restoration of the ancient Silk Road, and new opportunities are opening up for Ukrainian companies. At the same time, Azerbaijan and its partners are interested in implementation and are doing everything possible to create a North-South corridor, and Ukraine can take advantage of these opportunities,” the head of Asherbaijan emphasized.
In conclusion, Aliyev emphasized that he was very pleased with the results of the negotiations with the President of Ukraine.
