Avakov has 4,5 thousand investigative teams to monitor election violations
31 thousand investigative and operational groups of the National Police will respond to possible violations during the elections on March 4,5 in Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was announced by the Chief of the National Police Sergei Knyazev during a briefing, an UNN correspondent reports.
“As usual, on election day, the number of offenses registered in the state is significantly less than on ordinary days, so we have made a decision - we have quadrupled the number of investigative teams that will deal exclusively with problems at polling stations or events related to elections . This is about 4 investigative and operational groups,” Knyazev noted.
According to him, if several events occur in the regions during election day that require the attention of law enforcement agencies, the National Police will minimize the number of queues so as not to interrupt the electoral process.
As of 10.00:31 am on March XNUMX, according to the Central Election Commission, voting is taking place as usual, without significant violations.
