Avakov named the safest and most criminal city in Ukraine
Front-line Mariupol is the safest city in Ukraine, and peaceful Cherkassy is the most criminal, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“On the way to work in the morning, for some reason I remembered Mariupol. 2014-2015. There is a war going on, civilians are dying every day, the occupiers are shooting at Mariupol with “Grads,” but the city lives, the mayor Yuriy Khotlubey, and later Vadim Boychenko, deputies of the city council are engaged in protecting citizens. In those difficult days, they held sessions, decided to allocate money for the “Safe City” program, “Law and Order”, they thought about the future. Today Mariupol is the safest city, because society, the police and the military are doing everything possible for this,” he noted.
A different situation, according to Abroskin, is observed in Central Ukraine. “The peaceful city of Cherkassy, where a few days ago he held a meeting of the heads of the criminal police of Ukraine, is the most criminal city in the country,” he noted.
“I ask the head of the Cherkasy region GUNP how local authorities are concerned about the safety of their residents, whether the “Safe City” program is working. The answer is no. Therefore, thanks again, in particular to the local authorities of Mariupol and other cities of the Donetsk region, as well as to all other local leaders and deputies of the country, for whom the safety of the residents of their communities comes first,” Abroskin concluded.
According to the 2018 rating compiled by the Numbeo service, the list of the most criminal cities in the world includes three Ukrainian cities - Kyiv, Kharkov and Lviv. In particular, Kyiv ranks 130th in the list with an index of 47,9, Kharkov – 139 (46,77), and Lviv – 207th with an index of 39,92. According to this rating, the most dangerous city in the world is San Pedro Sula. There are a total of 327 cities in the ranking.
