Avakov promised to protect Russian polling stations in Ukraine from the Nazis
The police promise to strengthen the security of Russian diplomatic institutions in Ukraine on the day of voting in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the Communications Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, commenting on the recent threats of right-wing radicals to attack Russian diplomatic institutions on election day.
“We will act in accordance with the law. Of course, security will be strengthened,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted, noting that diplomatic missions are usually protected by a special unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, and police units will be on duty near their location.
The total number of personnel that will be involved in security has not yet been determined.
Let us remind you that the diplomatic missions of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine are located in Kyiv, Kharkov, Odessa and Lvov.
Previously, the VO “Svoboda”, “Right Sector” and “National Corps” promised to block Russian diplomatic institutions in Ukraine on March 18, on the day of the presidential elections in the Russian Federation, from 8:00 to 20:00.
