According to the resolution of the Galician District Court of Lviv, at the request of the police department in the Lviv region, criminal proceedings were opened on grounds of offenses under Part 4 of Art. 296 (hooliganism, punishable by imprisonment for a term of 3 to 7 years), Part 2 of Article 345 (threat or violence against a law enforcement officer, punishable by restriction of liberty for a term of up to 5 years or imprisonment for the same term), Art. . 293 (group violation of public order), Article 341 (seizure of state or public buildings or structures), Part 1 of Article 194 (deliberate destruction or damage to property) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On May 30, about 50 militants broke into the Lvov regional council, scuffled with police and set fire to smoke bombs. Eleven police officers and three civilians were injured, including a pregnant television journalist.
