This was stated by the head of the National Police of Ukraine Khatia Dekanoidze.
“Yes, there is such a production. You know, there was an open appeal when Ukrayinska Pravda journalists contacted the National Police so that all the details were checked... There is such a proceeding, we will investigate and deal with it,” she said.
Dekanoidze also added that the investigation into the circumstances of Sheremet’s murder has not been stopped, but there is no information that could be announced yet.
“If there is any new information, you will be the first to know about it. But under no circumstances think that someone has stopped work. Such a large-scale matter requires a serious, comprehensive approach,” added the head of the National Police.
Let us recall that at the end of October, the editor-in-chief of Ukrayinska Pravda, Sevgil Musaeva-Borovik, reported that she gave Dekanoidze an envelope received from a stranger, which contained printouts of conversations between the publication’s employees, including the deceased Pavel Sheremet.
