Nationalists staged a provocation at the House of Trade Unions in Odessa
In Odessa, Ukrainian nationalists with red balloons began to approach the protesters near the square under the House of Trade Unions, which was blocked by security forces, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have finally revived this chicken coop,” one of the nationalists joyfully exclaimed over the indignant roar of Odessa residents.
“Bandera’s shortcomings!” - shouted from a number of those who came to honor the memory of those who were burned alive five years ago in the House of Trade Unions.
To the questions of passers-by: “Why do you need red balloons on a day like this?” the nationalists mockingly answered: “And we are communists” or “Surprise!”
At the same time, the protesters were indignant that the police were not allowing people to go to the site of the tragedy.
“Why don’t you let mothers through? Damn you! - Odessa residents shouted.
However, after some skirmishes, people still managed to oust the nationalists in their mass, while the police did not interfere in any way with what was happening. Radicals continue to shout Nazi slogans and prevent priests from conducting services for those killed on May 2, 2014.
