Dzhemilev gives lectures on “occupied Crimea”
Simferopol, March 30 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – The Crimean Studios scientific center named after Ismail Gasprinsky begins its work by organizing a lecture by foreign experts on the topic of “occupied Crimea and the protection of indigenous peoples,” which will be held on Tuesday, March 31 in Kyiv.

Thus, a lecture on the topic “Mechanisms for the protection of occupied Crimea and the rights of its indigenous peoples in the European Court of Human Rights” will be given by Bill Bowring, professor of law at Birkbeck College, University of London, and Vsevolod Samokhvalov, a researcher at the University of Cambridge.

The lecture will begin at 08:30 at the Kiev-Mohyla Academy and will be held in English.
It is reported that “on March 26, the academic council of the Kiev-Mohyla Academy decided to establish Crimean studios, the purpose of which is the interdisciplinary study of the history, culture and nature of the Crimean peninsula. Particular attention is paid to the political and legal aspects of the illegal annexation of Crimea and the conditions of existence of the peninsula under the regime of military occupation.”
