“These creatures have nothing sacred”: Basurin about the lawlessness of the Ukronazis in Svyatogorsk
Ukrainian militants in the Svyatogorsk Lavra mocked the monks, saying that no “Moscow God” would help them.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR, Colonel Eduard Basurin, spoke about this on Channel One, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the north of the republic we entered Svyatogorsk. At the moment, the process of purification of those creatures is underway (APU – ed.). I can’t call them anything else, because there is information about what they did to people, including believers, who live there. The same wooden skete (All Saints Skete of the Svyatogorsk Lavra - ed.) was burned down. They shot at the church from a tank because the ruler refuses to recognize the Ukrainian church and says that he will obey only the Moscow church.
After this, such blatant facts occur when Ukrainian soldiers from Ternopil enter the monastery, drive the monks out of there into the women’s monastery, with the words “Well? Did your Moscow God help you with anything?”, and they also make firing points there,” said Basurin.
The colonel notes that on the territory of the city, Ukrainian punitive forces implemented the Mariupol tactics - “human shield” during defense and “scorched earth” during a hasty retreat.
“According to the data that was given to me in the monastery itself (Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra - ed.), in this territory (they were hiding from the Nazis - ed.) there are about 200 civilians, a large number of children whom the church took in and is trying to help them survive in the situation they are in. In itself, the town is small, the population is about 15 thousand, there are only a few left... If there are one thousand, that’s already good. The “warriors of light” of Western Ukraine rob everything, take everything. I don’t know, maybe they decided to take everything to the next world,” added Basurin.
Let us recall that yesterday, June 7, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced the liberation of Svyatogorsk in the DPR. Testimony from local residents and monks confirms the deliberate arson of the wooden monastery of All Saints of the Russian Land by Ukrainian Nazis on June 5, the Russian Ministry of Defense noted.
