Filaret already knows when to expect the tomos
The Ecumenical Patriarch in Constantinople will present the Tomos of autocephaly to the future head of the local Orthodox Church in Ukraine on January 6, 2019, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by the head of the information department of the unrecognized UOC-KP, Archbishop of Chernigov and Nizhyn Evstratiy (Zorya), BBC Ukraine reports.
“The Tomos of the Ecumenical Patriarch should be presented to the primate on January 6,” said the Philaret archbishop.
According to him, on January 6, in Constantinople, “the divine liturgy, a joint service of the Ecumenical Patriarch and the primate (of the Ukrainian Church - Ed), should be served, and after that the Tomos will be presented to him.”
