Firtash says that the law on occupied territories cannot be adopted
Kyiv, March 27 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – The law on occupied territories proposed by Batkivshchyna, which would ban the operation of industry in Crimea, as well as restrictions on entry to the peninsula, was sharply criticized in parliamentary committees - such a bill cannot be adopted.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Nechaev, ex-head of Crimean Titan, told Navigator about this.

“I really hope that this law will not be adopted, because it is, in principle, inhumane. It was written in a hurry, copied from Georgian law, but our situation is completely different.
I believe that it should not just be sent for revision, but rejected altogether. Everyone in the committees and commissions expressed a negative opinion about this law. If it is adopted, the industry of Crimea will stop, or enterprises will be forced to violate this law.
People living in Crimea will generally hate Ukraine, and then we will definitely not return the peninsula,” said a representative of the Party of Regions.
“I will not resign my deputy mandate - the people chose me, and I will work,” Alexander Nechaev also said.
