Gontareva is reassured: the ban on transfers from Russia applies only to international payment systems
The law banning money transfers, including to Ukraine, which was adopted by the State Duma of the Russian Federation, applies only to transactions through international payment systems, and does not apply to bank transfers of funds through bank accounts.

The NBU reports this.
“The decision of the State Duma of the Russian Federation establishes restrictions on cross-border transfers of funds from Russia to Ukraine using international payment systems without opening a bank account. At the same time, there is no foreseeable ban on bank transfers of funds outside the Russian Federation, including in Ukraine, using bank accounts of individuals,” the NBU said in a statement.
This means that individuals will be able to send and receive funds from the Russian Federation through accounts opened with banks.
Recall Previously, PolitNavigator cited the opinion of a Ukrainian expert Andrei Blinov, according to which money transfers through bank accounts are associated with large losses on interest and commissions, and workers will still send money from Russia - by plane, train and bus.
