The current president of Ukraine now has such a supply of administrative resources and tools for falsifications that none of his predecessors dreamed of.
The editor-in-chief of the Gordon website, Alesya Batsman, the wife of Kyiv journalist Dmitry Gordon, said this on air on the Nash TV channel, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to her, the upcoming election campaign will be the dirtiest in the entire history of independent Ukraine, which will result in provocations and the desire to win elections by dishonest means.
She also said that in pre-Maidan times, political strategists said that election fraud could add up to three percent.
“Now, given that the census is not being carried out on purpose, because there are not 42 million of us, but ballots have begun to be printed as if there are just that many of us. But in fact, experts are already saying that it’s both 35 and 30, and I’ve already heard the number 28 from several people. In any country, no matter where you go, there was never such a quantity of Ukrainian-Russian speech as there is now,” – the journalist added.
“Experts have increased this figure, which is a lot. Poroshenko now faces such a temptation to use administrative resources. He, like no other president before him, has new tools in his arsenal in connection with the war, plus his team is now beginning to develop a thesis and build an election campaign - either Poroshenko or Putin. That is, all other candidates are a priori Putin. Who do they take us all for?” – Batsman was indignant.
