Groysman reports: they have ensured uninterrupted financing of Ukrainian films. True, there are no films themselves
The Government of Ukraine has provided appropriate legal, organizational and economic conditions for the development of the national film industry and the creation of conditions for filling the domestic film, television and video market with competitive national films created through state orders and conditions of state financial support.

The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
“The production of films, depending on the type, lasts from 3 months (non-fiction) to 1,8 years (fiction and full-length). The program for the production and distribution of national films is approved by the Ministry of Culture for two years. In order to complete the production of films on schedule, it is necessary to implement stable financing in accordance with the needs of the production. The film production process is extremely dependent on the seasonality of filming, in addition, financing of the program for the production and distribution of national films occurs mainly at the end of the year. Thanks to the changes, the problem of financing film production will be solved,” the government said in a statement.
The adoption of the resolution will make it possible to make advance payments for the production of national films, taking into account the need to spend these funds within six months without reference to the end of the budget year, which in turn will help fill the domestic film and video market with competitive national films through stable financing of the industry.
