Groysman planned to invest 650 million hryvnia in the eastern regions of Ukraine
The first UAH 650 million out of UAH 6 billion aimed at overcoming the consequences of the conflict in Eastern Ukraine will be invested in the Donbass, as well as the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporozhye and Kharkov regions.

According to Minister Gennady Zubko, today the way is open for the start of a joint project with the European Investment Bank, “Emergency Loan Program for the Reconstruction of Ukraine,” which is aimed at overcoming the consequences of the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. In particular, 69 projects are planned for implementation, which will be provided by the state. Thus, the state undertakes to repay the loan, the total cost is 200 million euros.
“The project will cover Ukrainian-controlled areas of Donbass, as well as Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions, which are experiencing the greatest pressure on infrastructure due to the influx of internally displaced persons. Project funds will be used to repair and improve the energy efficiency of infrastructure used for the resettlement of internally displaced persons, restoration of electricity, heat and water supply systems, restoration of railways, in particular bridges,” the official noted.
