The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine performed “Yatsenyuk’s Second Alcohol Symphony” (VIDEO)
Kyiv, January 22 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – Actors of the street satire theater performed a performance at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine depicting the privatization of strategic enterprises. The day before, the government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced plans to sell more than a thousand state-owned plants and factories into private hands. Opponents accused Yatsenyuk of wanting to give away the last tasty assets on the cheap.
A particular controversy in Ukraine flared up around the Ukrspirt enterprise. Nationalists from the Svoboda party are against the sale. The government insists on its sale and accuses the Tyagnybokovites of secret corruption with the current management of Ukrspirt.

During the performance at the Cabinet of Ministers, at the request of anyone who was willing to pay, “Senya-30%” played the “melody of privatization” on vodka bottles with portraits of deputies. The privatization of Ukrspirt was carried out so violently that one “deputy” was defeated. At the request of “investors”, he also carried out the “privatization” of other enterprises and even public institutions - kindergartens and schools.
Yatsenyuk plays deputies like an instrument; they are always ready to vote for the decisions he and the oligarchs need, including those that are disadvantageous to the country, the actors wanted to say.
“Why is alcohol, which has always been a state monopoly, given into private hands? You just need to steal less,” said theater director Timur Ibragimov.
“Ukrspirt” is a profitable enterprise, and if Yatsenyuk really thought about filling the budget, he would not give it into private hands, a participant in the performance noted.
In addition, the new government for some reason promotes the return to the enterprise of those associated with Yanukovych’s “supervisors,” and the fiscal authorities began to put pressure on the company’s managers, an opponent of the privatization of Ukrspirt complained.
