According to her, Sevreestr received documents for registration of ownership and alienation of her apartment, based on official papers issued in Ukraine. The documents were allegedly submitted using a Ukrainian-style power of attorney completed by Zhiltsova and a false passport in her name.

“The power of attorney was issued in Chernigov. I have never been to Chernigov and have not crossed the territory of Ukraine since March 2014. I have not issued any powers of attorney to citizens of Ukraine, especially since I do not alienate my property. Currently, an application has been submitted to the Leninsky Regional Department of Internal Affairs of Sevastopol, the prosecutor's office and other authorities to revoke registration actions at the MFC. The apartment is pledged to Ukrsibbank. The surnames, possibly also fake ones, and passport details of the people who act on my behalf are already known. It is likely that they have many such powers of attorney,” Zhiltsova said.

Her son, Vladimir Grevtsev, emphasizes that in this way other Sevastopol residents could also lose their property: “The worst thing is that they accepted these documents and, if we had not moved, they would have managed to register the apartment. Each of us, theoretically, can have a double in Ukraine.”
