Former Minister of Economy Viktor Suslov stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Over the next four years, we need to pay an average of seven billion dollars a year. In total, this amount exceeds all of our foreign exchange reserves, and if we remember that foreign exchange reserves are formed mainly from IMF loans, which also need to be repaid, then the situation looks quite sad.

Ukraine, under pressure and on the recommendations of the IMF, is trying to raise energy prices and tariffs for the population to some high level, such as the European one. These are international principles for determining prices. They inevitably lead to further increases in utility tariffs. Well, then, of course, the stratification will increase in our country, it is still huge, and in general the standard of living will decline in Ukraine,” predicts Suslov.
