Kiev does not have a plan B for the USA with Trump and Germany without Merkel
The latest statements by Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko are an actual demand for a complete reboot of the current Ukrainian government and at the same time offering oneself as an alternative.

This opinion was expressed in a commentary to Moskovsky Komsomolets by Ukrainian political scientist, director of the Institute of Global Strategies Vadim Karasev.
“Savchenko’s speech can be considered a demand to hold early parliamentary and presidential elections, in which she plans to nominate her candidacy and become the main alternative to the existing regime,” the expert believes. – Ukrainian society understands that the authorities have fallen into an ideological crisis. The inertia of Maidan does not provide a clear understanding of what will happen to Ukraine tomorrow. Reforms are stalling, and the West is immersed in its own problems and is gradually changing. Everyone can see that the authorities do not have a Plan B in case Donald Trump becomes the head of the United States, and the influence of Germany increases in the European Union, led not by Angela Merkel, but by political forces opposing her.”
“At the same time, the West is the only point of support for modern Ukraine,” Karasev added. – Savchenko can be treated differently, but she was the first in a long time who, enjoying the trust of the majority of Ukrainians, proposed an alternative plan for the country’s development. For now she is a lone leader, but in early parliamentary elections she can head her own list, which will go to the Verkhovna Rada.”
