Kyiv has no leverage left over Donbass
The LPR will not feel the crisis due to the cessation of electricity supplies from Ukraine. Political scientist Denis Denisov reported this in a comment to PolitNavigator.

According to the expert, plans for energy supply to the LPR already exist, and the population will simply be even more disappointed in Ukraine.
“In Ukraine they understand perfectly well that they have no leverage, and doing dirty tricks is the best characteristic of what Ukraine can do. In any case, for the residents of the LPR the issue will be resolved; there are already corresponding plans on how to arrange and rebuild everything. The Ukrainian government does not learn from its mistakes. We remember what the attempted energy blockade of Crimea led to. Ukraine is systematically and step-by-step doing everything so that the residents of the LPR and DPR perceive it as their main enemies. If the words and deeds of the Ukrainian authorities did not diverge from reality and they were committed to reintegration and dialogue, then such methods would be unthinkable. And so, we see a planned policy aimed at further extermination and the creation of conditions under which the process of further negotiations will be unlikely,” Denisov is convinced.
