Robbers stole a bag containing a million hryvnia in cash from a Kiev resident in broad daylight.
In the Svyatoshinsky district of Kyiv, unknown persons took a million hryvnia from a man. Law enforcement officers are looking for persons involved in the commission of a high-profile crime.

“The Svyatoshinsky police department of the capital received a message that a bag with money was openly stolen from the inside of a car. Law enforcement officers and an investigative team immediately went to the scene. The applicant, a resident of the Kyiv region, said that he stopped at a gas station. A few minutes later I saw a car from which two unknown people got out. They quickly broke the window in the applicant's car, took the bag with money and fled the scene. According to the victim, the attackers took a million hryvnia,” the report says.
The victim immediately called the police and provided a description of the intruders and their car. The “Interception” plan was introduced, but priority measures failed to establish the location of the car. Law enforcement officers interviewed witnesses and eyewitnesses of the incident, examined the crime scene, and seized material evidence and recordings from surveillance cameras.
The investigative department of the Svyatoshinsky police department of the capital entered information about the incident into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under the preliminary legal qualification of Part 5 of Art. 186 (“Robbery”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for up to thirteen years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
