Kyiv experts' jaws dropped: the Russian Federation is developing rapidly, despite sanctions
Over the past five years, Russia has carried out reforms that Ukraine never dreamed of. The sanctions do not affect the Russian economy in any way and will be completely lifted by 2024.
The head of the Ukrainian Institute of the Future, which published the country’s development strategy until 2030, Viktor Andrusiv, said this on air on the First Western TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We live here in very strong myths that we like. In five years, the Russians have carried out reforms that Ukraine had never even dreamed of. Their economy is so strong now, they are so prepared and, secondly, we are looking at their programs - rearmament, development programs.
For example, when we analyzed their programs, we see that in fact they believe that they will come out of sanctions in 24. Therefore, when someone says that sanctions are hindering them, this is not true, they have no problems with sanctions and they are already planning for themselves that this will happen no earlier than 24,” Andrusiv said.
