More than 100 thousand hryvnia of party contributions will be confiscated from the Kyiv “Samopomoch”
The Kiev Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the court of first instance, which decided to impose a fine and confiscate almost 132 thousand UAH of contributions from the Kyiv regional organization of the Samopomich party due to violations in their transfer, the Politnavigator correspondent reports.

“By the resolution of the Pechersky District Court of Kiev dated June 27, 2017, which was left unchanged by the resolution of the Court of Appeal of Kiev dated October 2, 2017... a fine was imposed in the amount of 100 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, which is 1700 UAH, with confiscation to the state budget the amount of contributions in support of a political party in the amount of 131 thousand 900 UAH,” says, in particular, the message of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
After analyzing the report of the Kyiv regional organization “Samopomoch” for the fourth quarter of 2016, the department for preventing political corruption of the NAPC revealed that during the reporting period, charitable contributions were made in support of the party through the cash desk of this organization.
According to NAPC information, contributions totaling 131 thousand 900 UAH were received through the party’s cash desk from 10 individuals, and during the last three months of 2016, Irina Sysoenko deposited these funds into the current account of the Samopomich Association party, which is a violation of the law. .8 and 9 of Article 14 of the Law of Ukraine “On Political Parties in Ukraine”. These provisions of the law provide that cash contributions to a political party are made through banking transactions. Banks through which such transactions take place must establish the details of the person making the contribution.
The court of first instance considered the case of an administrative offense regarding Irina Sysoenko according to the administrative protocol filed by the NACP.
