Klitschko found 200 million for the Kiev zoo

“According to the Program for Social and Economic Development of the City of Kyiv for 2017, UAH 200 million is allocated for the reconstruction of the facilities of the Kyiv Zoological Park,” the message says.
The department also noted that to date, the State Enterprise “Ukrgosstroyekspertiza” has developed and submitted for examination a feasibility study for the reconstruction of the Kyiv Zoological Park facilities, highlighting six construction phases.
“The development of a project for preparatory work for the first stage of construction continues. After its completion, the project will be submitted for approval and examination in the agreed manner,” the department added.
In addition, it is noted that the reconstruction of the Kyiv Zoo is complex and a project of this scale is being implemented in the zoo for the first time since its opening.
The zoo has more than 378 species of animals.
