“In accordance with the comprehensive target program for increasing the efficiency and development of the housing and communal infrastructure of the city of Kiev for 2016 – 2020, approved by the decision of the Kiev City Council dated March 17, 2016 No. 232/232, the construction of a new crematorium in the Left Bank part of the city is envisaged. The program for social and economic development of the city of Kyiv for 2017 provides funds in the amount of 400 thousand UAH for the construction of a new crematorium. for work on the allotment of a land plot,” the message says.
The Kyiv City State Administration also added that work is currently underway to expand the boundaries of the Lesnoye and Southern cemeteries.
