Klitschko refused Russian software
The Kiev City Council has refused to use Russian software by local governments.

80 deputies voted for the corresponding draft decision, with the minimum required 61, the press service of the Kyiv City Council reports.
The corresponding document proposes to ban the use of software for telecommunications equipment developed and manufactured by Russian companies. The ban applies to local executive authorities, local governments, as well as utility companies, institutions and organizations.
The use of “aggressor” software for procurement is also prohibited.
According to the draft decision, within a year it is proposed to develop and implement Ukrainian software products that will be used by local authorities and utility companies.
The Kyiv City Council also intends to provide technical and cryptographic protection of information in the housing and communal services sector. By the end of the year, it is planned to create a citywide system of charges for housing and communal services.
