This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Council.
Thus, the corresponding decision was supported by 91 deputies.
“During the war in eastern Ukraine, deputies of the Kyiv City Council consider it inappropriate to provide people’s deputies and deputies of local councils with free travel at the expense of the state budget of Ukraine and the corresponding local budgets. Therefore, we propose to amend the current legislation of Ukraine, abolishing the rights of people’s deputies and deputies of local councils to free travel,” said the initiator of the corresponding draft decision, Kyiv City Council deputy Alla Shlapak.
