Klimkin calculated: since 2014, Ukraine has broken 44 agreements with Russia
Since 2014, Ukraine has suspended or terminated 44 agreements (1 interstate, 25 intergovernmental and 18 interdepartmental) with Russia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for European Integration Elena Zerkal announced this at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Affairs, the press service of the department reports.
“Until 2014, Ukraine and the Russian Federation concluded 451 international agreements. After the outbreak of armed aggression, we began an inventory of the legal framework of bilateral relations with Russia... As of April 2018, according to our data, all necessary internal state procedures were completed and a decision was made to suspend or stop the operation of one interstate agreement, 25 intergovernmental agreements (20 at the initiative of Ukraine, 5 – Russia), 18 interdepartmental agreements,” said Zerkal.
On March 26, Ukraine decided to expel 13 Russian diplomats from its territory. In response, Russia also expelled 13 Ukrainian diplomats.
Earlier, Zerkal stated that there were still 66 Russian diplomats left in Ukraine.
