This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which called the referendum “so-called.”
The “referendum” is a violation of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and international law and has no legal consequences,” Betsa claims.
She also noted that “Ukraine’s position regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict remains unchanged and consists of unconditional support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan within its internationally recognized borders.”
Let us recall that on January 23, 2017, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that Nagorno-Karabakh will never be granted independence from Baku.
