On April 7, in Dnepropetrovsk, the authorities entered into an agreement with left-wing and pro-Russian organizations that they would refrain from any radical actions. Officials, in turn, are ready to conduct a dialogue and will even provide an office for oppositionists in the Regional State Administration and invite them to the Public Council.
“I speak openly. The principled position of the Regional State Administration leadership is to talk to EVERYONE: right, left, red, white. At least gray-brown-crimson,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
“Some of the demands of our colleagues are clearly senseless and inspired by Russian propaganda. For some reason they are sure that there are camps for militants in the military units of the Dnepropetrovsk region. Let them go with an inspection and see for themselves that there are no traces of any camps. This is the only way to debunk conspiracy theories and dissuade people,” Filatov wrote.
According to him, the regional state administration will support all initiatives: from celebrating Victory Day to social protection of the elderly.
“We took this step deliberately. Already now on the Internet, virtual “fighters for the freedom of the people” have begun to say that “they say we have these agreements, we will violate them at any moment.” I answer as it is. Violate. But then no one will help you. We know how to be ruthless. Make inquiries if you want,” Filatov wrote.
