“In order to strengthen the fight against separatism, banditry and sabotage groups of mercenaries, the National Defense Headquarters of the Dnepropetrovsk region announces an increase in monetary rewards for surrendered weapons. From May 3, 2014, the following rates are established: AKM-type assault rifle - $3000, machine gun, grenade launcher - $5000,” the headquarters said in a statement.
In addition, in Dnepropetrovsk they began to actively develop the idea of annexing the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. According to local media, “for the May 11 territorial poll-referendum, the Central Election Commission of the “Together with the Dnieper” referendum is printing 3,2 million ballots.”
