Kolomoisky warned about the collapse of the hryvnia
The population of Ukraine should not trust the thesis “the stability of the hryvnia in spite of everything,” which is diligently promoted by the heralds of Petro Poroshenko’s administration. This warning was made by Kiev journalist Alexander Dubinsky, presenter of the 1+1 TV channel, owned by Igor Kolomoisky.

“Friends, when you discuss the stability of the hryvnia “in spite of everything,” remember 2008. Then, before the 60% collapse, the national currency was not only stable, it also strengthened by 7%.
At that time, the current President Poroshenko was the head of the Council of the National Bank.
And there were rumors that at first the revaluation of the hryvnia was blocked by a veto of the NBU Council on the decision of the National Bank board, so that Mr. Poroshenko could sell $50 million in foreign currency earnings. And then it was approved so that the future president could buy cheaper foreign currency.
Of course, there are no parallels with today's “stability”. Just a story,” writes Dubinsky.
