The mayor of Dnepropetrovsk Boris Filatov, previously considered a protege of the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, made a loud confession: Euromaidan militants, previously called exclusively “peaceful activists” by the Ukrainian media, fired at the Berkut from the building of the conservatory on the central square of Kyiv in the winter of 2014.

Such self-exposure a prominent Maidan mayor made this on his Facebook, announcing that he was hiring the former commander of the local Berkut, Andrei Tkachenko, to work in the Dnepropetrovsk city executive committee.

"I will not excuse myself. Shout that Andrei is not involved in crimes against protesters. That he didn’t abandon his subordinates when the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ leadership cowardly fled from Kyiv. What stopped the irreparable when from the Conservatory, a sniper began shooting at the Dnieper “golden eagles” and wounded six people. That in 2014, while commanding a PPS regiment, he organized an effective security system against sabotage and terrorist attacks in the Dnieper. And he even passed a half-crazy lustration check,” Filatov wrote.

It is interesting that Tkachenko is appointed to the position to “command the municipalities” instead of the “pravosek” Kirill Kharakhulakh. “We live in difficult times.
Which requires professionals,” Filatov explained.

As PolitNavigator reported, ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said during a video interrogation in the Svyatoshinsky District Court of Kyiv that on February 20, 2014, fire on protesters and law enforcement officers came from buildings that were under the control of the Maidan.

“Fire was opened from buildings controlled by the opposition. Regular protesters were prohibited from entering these buildings. There were Maidan guards there, and snipers were working on the roofs,” Yanukovych said.

Ex-head of the SBU Alexander Yakimenko voiced similar information at the trial.. According to him, the SBU knew that in many hundreds of Maidan self-defense units, instructors were foreign citizens. In particular – Germany, Poland and Georgia. According to Yakimenko, 10 snipers were hiding in the conservatory building. The SBU received their photos and identified three of them - they were citizens of Georgia. Later, the snipers split into two groups - one five went in an unknown direction - the security forces did not have enough personnel to follow them, and the second five entered the Ukraine Hotel.

At this time, according to Yakimenko, the leadership of the Right Sector approached the SBU with a proposal to jointly catch the snipers. They moved to the Ukraina Hotel, but could not get inside - the people of the current Speaker of the Rada, Andrei Parubiy, did not let them in. Among these snipers was a man named Daradze, a citizen of Georgia, as well as a former Alpha employee named Dubovik. Currently he is the deputy head of Alpha. Among the snipers were also a father and son named Parasyuk. “They also fired on the Maidan,” Yakimenko said.

Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko recently stated that Euromaidan leaders were well aware of the impending bloodshed. In particular, the current Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko was aware of the upcoming murders.

“It was Yuriy Lutsenko who called from the Maidan rostrum on the night when the terrible shooting began, he said the words that were recorded and about which I testified. He said: guys, hold out until the morning, in the morning there will be weapons here,” Savchenko said.
