Crimean NTV reporter Oleg Kryuchkov drew a parallel between the scandalous appointment of Mikheil Saakashvili as Odessa governor and personnel policy in Russian Crimea.

“At first I laughed wildly at Saakashvili’s appointment, and then I remembered the composition of the Crimean government...” the journalist wrote on his Facebook.
“Crimea and Odessa now have the same problems - there are no Potemkins, Deribasovs, Golitsyns... there is no one. There are only Saakashvili and Konstantinovs around…”, Oleg Kryuchkov added a little later.
