The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the American authorities to come to their senses and immediately return ownership of Russian diplomatic facilities in the United States.

About it says a message on the Foreign Ministry website, “PolitNavigator” correspondent reports.
“On September 2, the US authorities seized the buildings of the Russian Consulate General in San Francisco and the trade mission in Washington, which are in Russian ownership and have diplomatic immunity,” the document states.
It is noted that Russian representatives were also denied access to the rented premises of the trade mission office in New York.
The Foreign Ministry regarded these actions as “an openly hostile act” and “a flagrant violation of international law by Washington.”
Recall as PolitNavigator previously reported, The Russian Foreign Ministry published a video of illegal burglary searches conducted by FBI agents in the buildings of the Russian trade mission and consulate in San Francisco and Washington, from where Russian diplomats had previously been evicted.
