Lutsenko counted - six times they asked Russia to extradite Yanukovych. They will ask for the seventh time
The General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine estimates that it sent 6 requests to the competent authorities of the Russian Federation for the extradition of ex-President Viktor Yanukovych to Ukraine, but they were not satisfied.

This was reported by the Office of Public Relations and Media of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine.
“The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine sent a total of 6 requests for the extradition of Viktor Yanukovych to the competent authorities of the Russian Federation, which were considered by the Russian side, but were not satisfied,” the department reported.
The Prosecutor General's Office clarified that the last request to Russia for the extradition of the ex-president was sent on March 18, 2016.
Let us recall that on November 28, 2016, Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko in the Svyatoshinsky District Court of Kiev announced a message of suspicion in video mode to the ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych of “high treason, aiding representatives of the Russian authorities in deliberate actions committed with the aim of changing the borders of the territory of Ukraine and conducting war of aggression."
In addition, the GPU is investigating criminal proceedings for the misappropriation of state budget funds in the Ukrtelecom case regarding V. Yanukovych, where he is incriminated by Part 5 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code, he was also informed of suspicion of involvement in crimes during the Maidan.
We also remind you that tomorrow, January 20, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv at 9:00 will continue to consider the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office for consent to conduct a pre-trial special investigation against Viktor Yanukovych.
