The parliamentarian published his message on the 28th anniversary of the entry of the UGCC to the public level.
“The anniversary of the restoration of the statehood of this church is a holiday for all Ukrainians.
Despite the complex history of its appearance during the Second World War, and at the dawn of independence, and throughout all these years, and during the Revolution of Dignity, and from the very beginning of the war in Donbass, the clergy of the UGCC fought shoulder-to-shoulder with their people ... Thousands of Greek Catholics, especially from Western Ukraine, went to the front in order to cleanse the holy Ukrainian land from the raging Muscovites, with arms in hand, for the glory of God.
Tens, if not hundreds of thousands of UGCC believers volunteered. Some of them desperately shared the latest to help the best of the best,” Lozovoy wrote.
