Residents of the part of Donbass controlled by Kyiv are not eager to take part in the presidential elections in Ukraine. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the pro-Western Democratic Initiatives Foundation named after Ilk Kucheriv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Only 36% of respondents surveyed in Donbass intend to participate in the elections.
The main argument for refusing to participate in elections is the lack of a candidate worth voting for.
Residents of Donbass told sociologists that they do not believe that the elections will be held fairly (62% among those who do not intend to vote).
The survey was conducted jointly with the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from August 16 to August 22, 2018.
