Medvedev approved a development program for Crimea and Sevastopol until 2020
Simferopol, August 11 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) – The Government of the Russian Federation has approved a federal target program for the development of Crimea and Sevastopol until 2020, amounting to more than 680 billion rubles.

“The total amount of funding for the Program is 681 million rubles, of which federal budget funds are 221,18 million rubles, funds from extra-budgetary sources are 658 million rubles,” the statement says.
The goals of the Federal Target Program are to integrate the economy of the Crimean Federal District into the economic space of the Russian Federation, ensure transport accessibility, and remove infrastructure restrictions for the purpose of sustainable economic development.
The following tasks are being solved within the framework of the program: eliminating restrictions on transport infrastructure, eliminating restrictions and improving the quality of energy supply to the region, eliminating restrictions on engineering infrastructure, developing the social sphere and ensuring interethnic harmony.
